So there were a lot of problems with the first prospective cover for the Diesel first issue. I kept it around because I liked the clouds and the idea of Diesel sitting there looking bored. Compositionally though it was just awkward to me. Not to mention that Diesel was completely off model. Diesel is supposed to be 17 and she looked like she was in her late 20's in the first cover. Also it didn't match the tone of anything going on in the book.

So I did this one today and it fixes all those problems and more.
Some people have expressed that they like the old one better but honestly it doesn't really matter. A cover is supposed to 1.) catch the eye and 2.) represent what's inside and the first one wasn't cutting it for me anymore.

I'm aiming to reveal Diesel first during Anime Weekend Atlanta this September and then open up online orders shortly after so look for it then!

I am a huge fan of your work, and I love Diesel, she is quit the sexy mechanic. And as you can see from my avatar, (which is a small Detroit Diesel) I am naturally drawn to her. And your art style, amazing, just cant get enough.

I have not.
It groups all favorites I get in lumps, and I usually don't have time to sift through the several hundred favorites I get a day.
