DEAR SWEET MERCY FINALLY.
I've been working on finishing this thing off and on for like 2 months, but I could never create a beleivable scene that really flowed or looked right. well today I finally just sat down and decided to finish it or throw it away. Anyway, I finished it. I know, it's probably unweildly large to look at, but the original was enourmous, and the more I shrink it, the more detail is lost. Anyway, hope you like it.

One moar.
This is... what... it's...
I have no words. :/
Allow me to summarize and just say everything about this is groovy and delicious. Like, everything. Damn.
You got skillz. Skillz of power. Of powerful, power-granting power.
Do you hold onto some sort of ancient sceptre or other magically pulsating relic while you work?
Is your drawing arm covered in indecipherable scripture written not in ink but blackness itself, a living sutra that bonded with you when you lifted a strange stylus you found in a palace hidden from civilization in a land without a name, a quill of might that seemed to grin up at you from its faceless form as you took hold, bearing for an instant its own mind which yearned only to create, before that mind was drawn into your own and slowly became one with you, granting you day by day more of its incomprehensible power, the forces at work nearly splitting your mind in two with every non-word it spoke unto you from the shadowed recess in which it dwelled?
No?
Well. You got some skillz then. Skillz.

Mercy. What flattering words for such an old picture. Thank you.

You are quite welcome, good sir. owo Good luck with the new Boxer Hockey, incidentally. Your shenanigans on the internets shall be missed.

This is just an outstanding piece of work. Its one of the rare pics I can find, that actually make me just want to start scribbling out drawings with my pencil, till my fingers start to hurt.

Very smooth picture, were some of the colors soft shading? Could you tell me how you were able to do that?

yeah, was it soft shading, or cel shading? Usually that's the terms I have been hearing from other deviants when they do their projects.

Well I guess it would be soft shading. I just make a layer for the line-art, set the layer property to Multiply and then color under it with whatever. I use a tablet now, but this one was made back when all I had was a ball-mouse.

Oh yeah, I know about the tablet thing....I was finally able to get one, fell in love with it every sense. I barely watch tv because of it! LOL Thanks for replying about the shading!
